The Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) issued a Notice of Allowance for the CourtLenz patent on October 16, 2025.

The CourtLenz patent claims "fused association" technology, which was developed in-house by LITIV.

LITIV filed the CourtLenz patent application on June 11, 2025, and was able to receive a swift decision by requesting prioritized examination based on its status as a venture company.

LITIV plans to seek worldwide protection for the CourtLenz patent by filing a PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) application this October. Specifically, the company plans to directly enter the national phase in the US and simultaneously file a request for the PPH (Patent Prosecution Highway).
